Hey! So Glad You're Here.

I'm Karen :) Wife to my wonderful husband, Cameron, of 13 years and "Mom" to my three blessings, Micah (11), Vera (10) and Salem (8). Two years ago, we found the old farmhouse of my dreams and moved to quaint little town of Orange, Va. We love our simple and slow (but never dull!) life here with our 2 dogs, 2 donkeys and 6 cats! ​

This site is the home base for both my creative and business ventures. Here you will find encouraging posts seeking to cultivate beauty and goodness in the heart and home, as well as some of the handmade and wellness products I offer.

 

 I began making handmade leather baby shoes and leather cuffs about 9 years ago under the shop name the Onward Traveler.  I strive to ethically source my materials from thrifted goods, which I then wash and make into something new.  

 

My husband and I have been using essential oils for about 10 years, specifically for their medicinal value. The health and home benefits we have gained from adding essential oils into our daily habits are something you will see of bit of here :)

 

Creativity and encouraging people are what fuel my content here so I hope you find something to draw value from!
